Woodfield’s English-Style Herb and Vegetable Garden was modeled after a formal Renaissance kitchen garden and received the 2012 FNGLA Landscape Award of Excellence.
The garden yields over 3,000 pounds of produce each season, which is harvested and delivered to the Woodfield kitchen to be used in savory dishes served throughout the Club.
The eco-conscious design incorporates stacked stone planters, certified organic compost, drip tubes in raised planters, irrigation that utilizes a solar powered clock and LED lighting to illuminate the pathways.
